May Day!

28/04/2023

We at Fristaden wish everyone a happy May Day. May Day is celebrated to welcome the arrival of spring and is considered the first summer day of the year. The earliest celebrations date back to the time before Christianity. Nowadays, people come together to drink mead, eat doughnuts and gather at the traditional May Day bonfire.

HAPPY EASTER!

06/04/2023

The Easter Bunny, like so many of our traditions, originally came from Germany where it first appeared in the city of Heidelberg at the end of the 17th century. At the time, the easter eggs were called hare eggs, which was a way for the adults to trick the children into thinking that the easter bunny laid the eggs...

Many children's longing for the magical evening with Christmas presents under the tree and all adults laughing and enjoying themselves is now here! Want to remind you adults to take care of yourselves!
